Homestead Crescent is within walking distance of Sherwood Forest Mall which comprises an A & P grocery store, drug store, banks, medical centre, liquor & beer stores and a fitness centre.
Approximately 6km east is Masonville Mall, one of the larger malls in London. In addition to the full range of stores in the mall, there is The Bay, Sears and Zellers, Canadian Tire, a cinema, library, banks, Chapters book store, restaurants and a large Loblaws grocery store.
The Canada Games Aquatic Centre is within walking distance and features a state of the art swimming pool with recreational and organized activities.
